I occasionally come across horses in need of some tune-up, maybe a little re-training, or possibly some pretty intensive work, to bring them up to par as an excellent trail horse. I am sometimes able to acquire such horses and turn them into exceptional trail horses, which I then offer for sale to my followers on Western Trail Rider.

It is very gratifying for me to see my horses go to the right owner. I don’t claim they are perfect and I make sure to disclose any issues that have not been ironed out and I try to match up the horse with the right owner. In furtherance of that, I offer a 15-day money-back trial period on all my horses. If the horse and owner find they are not compatible, just bring him back in good condition and I’ll return the full purchase price.

I am occasionally asked to advertise horses for people who would like help in marketing their own horses. In these cases I acquaint myself with the owner and the horse sufficiently to be able to make an accurate description of the horse and to judge whether it is suitable to be sold on this site. On Western Trail Rider, we deal with trail horses only.

While I specialize in Missouri Fox Trotters and Tennessee Walking Horses, not all will be registered. I sometimes handle other breeds as well, most of which will be gaited.
