I occasionally list horses for sale on Western Trail Rider.

Normally, these are horses I have come across that are in need of a little tune-up, re-training, or conditioning to become solid trail horses. When I find these, I work with them, turn them into exceptional trail horses, then offer them for sale to my followers at reasonable prices. They are not always registered horses, but when I offer them for sale, they are proven, healthy, solid, gaited trail horses. I normally stick with gaited horses in the Missouri Fox Trotter and Tennessee Walking Horse breeds, but that’s not a hard and fast rule.

I offer a 15-day, money-back, trial period on my horses. If the horse and owner prove not to be compatible, or if the horse proves not to be as I represented it, return the horse to me and I will give your money back.

I have, on occasion, sold horses for other owners. When that is the case, I will have become sufficiently acquainted with the owner and the horse, that I am confident the animal will be an excellent trail horse, solid and reliable on the trail, sound, and healthy. I am not, however, responsible for claims made by the owners or issues relating to their horses of which I was not made aware beforehand. The sale and transfer, and all conditions thereof, are handled between the owner and buyer.
