In my experience of training horses, I find that firmness and consistency are the keys to success. I wear spurs when I train, because I find my horses learn quicker what I want of them and respond more precisely to cues. After just a couple go-rounds they generally respond very well to gentle touches. Seems like people respond in generally the same way as horses.
So, simply put,
– keep your post topics heading in the same general direction as the forum title. I may moderate or move a thread if I think it fits better somewhere else.
– Be courteous. The admins wear the spurs. Everybody else is in soft heels.
– Any post or thread that violates these simple rules will be moderated or deleted.
– Any member who violates these simple rules repeatedly will be removed from the forums.
– It’s my website and I can change these rules anytime I feel the need. 😉
– This site is G-rated…well, maybe occasionally PG.
– Any complaints should be emailed to the admins at “admin@westerntrailrider.com”.
